Breaking news: one of the Italian Monty Python Forum administrators is registered here and has just tweeted me the title of the movie this pic is from. Log in immediately, girl!
  8.
Come on, you're not going to die! Just post the title of the movie! I beg you *pleading eyes*
  9.
I KNOW you're here, girl! And your English is far better than mine. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE :whorship:

It's from "Romance With a Double Bass", and he's playing the bass violin, not the cello. The bass has to be played standing up, because it's so big. Ironically, they're often played by smallish people.

The girl is shy and modest, I understand it. But...get a grip! (I learned this expression here, Lozzy taught me that one) Come on, girl! Or mrsthing will tell the title!

You see? You don't need me here!
    (flies away)
  11.
Here is! I knew! Silly girl, you've lost your chance. Mrsthing wins!
  12.
Oh Shivani, you're really too modest. Thanks for the pic, anyway. Come back and write sometimes! :kissing:
  13.
I must add an information I got from Shivani: he's not sweaty, he's wet beacuse he swam in the lake.
  14.
Thanks Shiv! There's nothing to fear - if we bite, it's because we love in very strange ways.

Shivani, we DO need you here! Please come back!

Those two white things near his gorgeous, vampirizable neck are the strings on the bass fiddle. The head of the instrument is hidden by John's sexy face.

BTW, gentlemen forum readers, "Romance with a Double Bass" is worth renting or owning. You get to see Connie Booth in her prime absolutely starkers, standing with her legs apart. I'll bet John was just trembling with delight when that scene was shot.

You're too kind, and I like you all but I'm shy. I only wrote to please Valetudinaria :)
I prefer sitting there in the corner and hearing you chatting, if you don't mind.
    I promise I won't disturb you and I won't tell anyone what I hear!

When Mr. Thing had sideburns, they looked just like that. Thin near the ear, and fuller on the cheek.

Okay, Shivani. If you want, you can just sit in the corner and not get in anyone's way. But feel free to jump in anytime you want.

You know, it's so strange for me to think there are people who sit here regularly and just read what we have to say. There is no way we are that interesting.

He may have used the same carpet for those eyelashes! Wow! I'll have to find this movie! Not really interested in the starkers part... but he's adorable!

He's all but starkers--the gender-specific part is always hidden by the double-bass or the instrument case.

The movie was NOT remastered, and isn't in very good shape, but I own it, and it's worth having for the hard-core Cleese fan.
  17.
I'll have to manage to find it!

Shivani you're kind as usual. *hug*

    Oh get a room already!
