No one is allowed into my flat. It has bugs and cameras compliments of FBI...This is story of my life. Always drama, drama darma and no it is not always fun. I want my jewelry back!
I'm so fucking tired. I was up till midnight cleaning and cooking Saturday night, and my arthritis was so bad from the housework the pain kept me awake until nearly 1:30am. Then I had to get up this morning at 6:30am to make it to church for 7:30am for choir practice. I was a zombie for most of the day, but everyone liked the lamb stew, even the kids, and they had as good a time as they could given how dinky my house is. Luckily, it came off sunny and 70 instead of rainy and 60, so they could go outside.
Mr. Thing opened the bedroom window, forgetting I'd taken the screen off so I could watch the birds and snow. I found the parakeets perched on the curtain rod. Thank GOD they didn't take a notion to fly out the window!
I am from Madrid, 3rd most populous urban are in the European Union, after London and Paris. Earthquake happened in Lorca, Murcia. My still living grandfather is from Torrepacheco, near Lorca. Rodrigo Borja, aka Rodrigo Borgia, aka Pope Alexander VI was from Borja, Zaragoza (Aragón), as far as I've seen on Wikipedia.

Aw. I want a new camera to take pictures of thngs I come upon like, uh, maybe a lovely bird's nest blue egg cuddling snugly in its nest waiting for its adventure in life. Aw,
I lost a friend yesterday--not a close friend, but someone I've known for over 15 years and saw every week at church. She was paralyzed from the chest down in a car accident some years ago, but she'd been doing pretty well. It was very sudden. She spiked a fever of 107, lapsed into a coma, and died. Her funeral is this Saturday.
- used a spade to rip the grass, weeds and mould from between the bricks in my walkway all down the side of the house and at the back yard deck - mowed both front and back yards - went out twice on my bike to do shopping - hedge trimmed out front (back yard tomorrow?) - have started the weekly laundry
Right now I:
- am sitting here, nearly paralyzed, barely able to move my mouse finger to trigger the "Add Your Comments"... absolutely exhausted, and it's only 4:41 pmmmmmm
That blonde lab assistant from the sketch about the blancmanges playing tennis is just awful. Fills the role of the otherwise useless piece of tail, but she's too much. I wish they'd had Carol.
I'm angry, and I have a tummy ache, but the two aren't related. Though it is easier to vent my spleen when things in that general vicinity are all stirred up anyway.
So I went to a pet store last week--an exotic bird shop--and it was FILTHY and the birds were sick and conditions were just deplorable! I complained to just about everyone and every organization I could think of, and PETA asked me if I could get pictures. I couldn't imagine the shop owner being happy about that, but I went back today, and he was more than happy to let me take photos! I stood there taking close-up shots of bird poo and crusty, rusty cages, and he didn't say a thing! I'm going to send the photos to PETA and see if they can get him to clean up his act. Those cages couldn't have been cleaned for days--there was so much bird shit on the bottom! Some of them had no food, some no water, and one cage had neither. I'd been there before the shop opened this morning and went out back to see what he had in the trash. I found a huge empty back of CHICKEN PELLETS! Poultry food isn't what exotics need! I only found one small bag of a fruit mix for parrots. But most of the food cups in the cages had chicken pellets or some kind of powdered stuff. At least this week, there weren't any sick birds. They were acting normal this week, too--not all groggy and silent like last week.
Op, I've already seen that video but it makes me LOL every time!
Time in
I have a bad cold. That's what I needed in the summer, the wound in my foot wasn't enough. Still I don't regret having kept on walking, if i stopped I would have missed the chance of seeing a lot of beautiful places in London.
Call me old-fashioned, but I think that if you know exactly why the bride should not be wearing white-- out of personal experience-- you shouldn't be at the wedding. It's disrespectful towards the groom. There, I said it!
