    And I heard "el presidente" in there. Must have been asking it its opinions on government and social issues. I think he trained it, though--seems like he used the same two hand gestures over and over again, one to get it to spit and one to get it to stick its tongue out.

    It's been three comments since the goat item, so I'll comment on it, too.

    Until it moved down into its pen near the end, I was SURE this was a talking hand puppet. Watch it again!

    Feeling sick and lonely and bored. If given the chance to do anything in the world, I'm not sure what I'd do. Maybe eat sushi if someone wheels me into a sushi restaurant...not that anything tastes normal, anyway.

    Freshman Orientation @ Texas Tech - My son is officially a Red Raider... Talk about school spirit - those guys are SERIOUS! SO proud and just starting to feel a twinge of "empty nest" anxiety - I promise to indulge it for 60 seconds and move on!

    The Dean of the School of Engineering knows my son's name (in a good way!). Their "Rec Center" is like a spa resort. He will not miss us, but I will miss him like nobody's business!

    Went to Vitamin World today to get cheap vitamins and herbs and stuff, and they had some free samples out on the counter. It's usually Vitamin C chewables, so I just popped one in without thinking.

    It was B12. 2500mcg. Supposed to take it sublingually. I chewed it and swallowed it.

    Now I feel like anything is possible! So I had some Hostess cupcakes.

    They're chocolate cupcakes filled with whipped cream, and they have chocolate icing with a white squiqqle down the middle. I can't find a picture I can paste in here, because Google images went and fancied up their app, and I don't have time to fart around with it.

    My boss and a co-worker have been talking for over an hour about their Mormon church things.

    Am I wrong or is this a subject that should be discussed outside of the work place? This very boss yelled at me once for taking a personal call from my husband, a call that lasted all of 2 minutes.

    Had a big, heavy lunch at the Olive Garden today. So rich and salty! The salad dressing is repeating on me. I really just wanted a nice salad and some lean meat or a burger. Nothing lean on the menu, despite their little olive symbols indicating heart-healthy choices. Sorry, but chicken breast stuffed with ricotta cheese and smothered in cream sauce is NOT heart-healthy.

    I've just seen that "Man arguing with spitting goat" video. OK, that guy is from the Canary Islands (Spanish territory, you know...) and he's asking the goat about politics: What do you think of president Zapatero? (Spit) What do you think about the Canarian parliament? (Baaaah! Spit) What's about the mayors of the islands? (Spit), etc, etc, etc.

    I was wondering why the hummingbirds stopped coming to my feeders, and why the solution wasn't going cloudy after a few days as it usually did. Found out they were bone dry! The squirrels figured out how to get to them by climbing on my bird camera. Damned wood rats!
