Thank you for providing subtitles to my subliminal messages.

    There, I fixed it!

I have not heard of Dr. Ease-it in, but something tells me he is related to our Cad. Or maybe they have a consortium of Ease-it in, Mok, Cad and Thumble, Esq. Kind of like Dewey Chetham and Howe.

Gung for a moment there thought his holiness had sold his soul (again) and was something to do with that steaming pile of poo film, Year one with 'Jack about as funny as Gervais Black'.

Can't we all just have a 'whip round' for the old sod so he can stop working?
He can't need much money can he?
    Cad has done the sums
    Denture fix £1.00 a week
    Boiled sweets £1.50 a week
2 gallons of paraffin for his heater £9.00 a week.
Home help and meals on wheels are provided by the state.
He gets free TV licence being over 85 and blind.
Fish heads for his cat(that's what he blames the smell on anyway) free from Bob's fish & chip shop on the corner of his street.
What else does he have to pay for??
So by Cads reckoning he could live like a King for £23.50 a week

Review from Just For Laughs show last Saturday:

"To end the evening, Cleese presented the last segment of his own version of The Bachelor. However, his rose recipient refused to sign a pre-nuptial agreement, as did either of the runner-ups. Luckily for Cleese, a transsexual from the audience was more than willing to sign the paper. They were married that same night on stage."

I wonder if Garry had to play the transsexual?

"To save the $20 million, he considered a “boat accident” but refused to be grouped in with Phil Spector."

    YOIKS!

He probably did make Garry play the transsexual. Garry said he was in the show...

I wonder how much he pays Garry to make it worth doing all this stuff?

Garry said he *might* do some "east coast" shows next year. I asked if he meant "east coast" as "New York & Boston" or "DC and Philly", but I haven't heard back. He probably doesn't know yet.

    John Cleese Astrology Chart

born October 27, 1939 at 3:15 AM in Weston-Super-Mare (United Kingdom)
Sun in 2°46 Scorpio, AS in 12°35 Virgo,
Moon in 19°11 Aries, MC in 7°08 Gemini

    Chinese Astrology: Earth Cat
    Numerology: Birthpath 5

    • Your sensitivity
    • Your temperament is impulsive, John CLEESE (MONTY PYTHON), you are fond of instant thrills and you do not like to wait because you grow weary quickly.

    • Your intellect and your social life
    • You are the very type of the researcher endowed with great intellectual and imaginative capacities, John CLEESE (MONTY PYTHON), and your curiosity is very deep.

  4. Your affectivity and your seductiveness
  5. In your chart, the Sun and Venus are both in Scorpio. With this configuration, love is but excessive, burning or… inexistent. It is all or nothing, rosy or black!

  6. Your behaviour
  7. Psychologically speaking, your nature is nervous and secondary. Before you take action, you cautiously ponder over things and you review any possible alternative and reaction.

  8. Your will and your inner motivations
  9. Psychologically speaking, your nature is bilious, with aggressive impulses that lead you towards the transformation of your entire being and, continuously, of the situation surrounding you.

  10. Your ability to take action
  11. John CLEESE (MONTY PYTHON), the way you take action is quite paradoxical: you carry out your business perfectly well when you are in a teamwork with collective goals, but you do so in your original and individualistic manner: this is your main peculiarity.

You are a hard-worker, you are completely dedicated to the service of others: being helpful and efficient is your battle horse. Indeed, it is so obvious! Ask the opinion of your colleagues or your entourage… Your efficiency is not to be proved. You get things moving, you progress, you are very keen to improve yourself and your boss can only rejoice that his staff contributes so actively. The areas of health and pets are traditionally favoured by this planetary configuration. However, do check your Mars’ aspects if you intend to be a tamer! In any case, the daily work sphere is the area where you can deliver to the best of your abilities, in terms of action. The only reservation may be not to overdo.

There was a time on the PC once when, every time I submitted a comment or returned to the main discussions page, I got a screen with what turned out to be huge letters on it. It was so big I couldn't even see one whole letter without scrolling, but it always disappeared after a second or two, so I never got to see what the message said, if anything.

Mr. Thing says this site often deposits bugs on our computers that he finds during routine security checks. I say, "That's life."

I'm very likely more fanatical about security than Mr. Thing, and very likely better at it, and I haven't found anything out of the ordinary. So whatever he's finding, it isn't from this site.

Mac - do you see different boarders between the comments on this thread? I can see all the others normally, but this one seems to have pieces of our icons as the borders between comments instead of the classy, if understated and boring, green box! I'll check my meds...

I only see the usual green boxes. Perhaps it's Internet Explorer or Firefox that is the problem. Whichever you're using, try the other and see if you still see the strange borders.

I'm using Safari, but I don't recommend PC users try it. The Windows version of Safari is kinda annoying, I think.

My only problem (and I use Firefox) has been a couple of times, when the screen is changing back from a thread to the forum front page, I briefly get a screen of stuff that turns out to be enormous type--200 size or more. One serif takes up a whole laptop screen. But it never lasts long enough for me to see what it says. It's only happened two times, but it's weird.
