    Val you're wonderful :)
  3.
Thanks :shamed: I have a continuous need of reassurance and appreciate compliments, though I feel I don't deserve them. I'm very self-centered, you see, and have a tendency to self-deprecation (surprise, surprise! Lol!) I'm trying to become "easier" but when you've had low self esteem almost all your life long, well, it's...hard.

    Thanks Op. :kissing:
  4.
Vale, you've turned this thread into a MASTERPIECE!!!!
  5.
    I agree!

And I know how you feel, Val. That's why I've always loved coming here. Even back in the old forum. Everybody loves me here.

    Yes you do!

    Wonderful couple.

  6.
I like him with a beard too! But Mrs T doesn't *snif* He was so handsome as Petruchio!

Erm...but he's a bastard, that's obvious, he's an old fart now! He has lost all his charms if he ever had them. Tsk.

Go on, Paute, another couple of photos, maybe?

Always remembering he's a presumptuous and half-decomposed asshole, of course.

Yes, yes, we clearly hate him!
That's why we're here, just to show you that we don't like you, mister too-good-for-this-forum! You make me sick! Oh, and the others too.
    Disappointment! Frustration! Anger!
    Feeling of loneliness... :(
    More anger!
  7.
    I'm just hot for him

(Trying to fill in for the absent Lozzy)
  8.
    LOL!

I wonder how does it feel to lick his nob, ya know. Do you think it tastes of gone bad cheese? Just wondering.

    (Always Lozzy.)
  9.
    Probably tastes like poo

It's probably so short you'd get poo on your face from his arse crack if you went down on him.

    (God, Lozzy--you really are AWFUL!)

After all these years, I couldn't possibly hate him. It would take something extraordinary, at least--something so totally out of character for him that I don't think it's possible.

I will continue to admire and lust after him long after he's dead, most likely. I'll be 80 years old, but I'll still get that stirring in my loins and mind and heart when I look at these pictures.

I won't be able to do anything about it, but it'll be there!

Vale, can you find any pictures of him at Cornell University? Friends of mine who have a son there say all the students rave about him--they don't know Monty Python much, but they love him because when he visits, his lectures are actually interesting, and he doesn't eat with the other suits--he stands in line with the students and eats with them in the cafeteria.

    Siiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiigh.....

He's too good to be true he is...

Oh, and he was so unbelievably sexy as Petruchio, I almost didn't mind him delivering all those outrageously sexist lines. I think I had three orgasms watching that play!

And that was just his first scene!

Vale--can you find a picture of him as the professor in "Mary Shelley's Frankenstein"? (1994, with Helena Bonham Carter and Kenneth Branagh) I almost didn't recognize him. He was quite good in it.
  15.
Detto fatto (no sooner said than done)

That role was the one which made me "re-discover" him. I was 22, I guess, I saw the movie on tv and when I saw this tall, long-haired, grey-bearded man (has "grey-bearded" a double meaning, by any chance? I would like to avoid spectacles - has SPECTACLES a double meaning?? Oh my..sigh...) I thought "How charming. But...wait a moment..ARCHIE LEACH??"

There's a larger version of that one with the onion in the autobiography. Definitely swoon-worthy, even if it is just an onion he's about to bounce off his bicep. That wavy hair! And he had such beautiful hands when he was younger.

    Siiiiiiiiiiiiiiigh......

He must be schizo. His left side looks so different from his right side!

And is he about to smell his own armpit, Otto style, in that top one, Val?
  21.
Could be, or maybe he's just pensive.

Or: he's massaging his own scalp.

If he's pensive, why has he got his hands on top of his head? To keep his brain from falling out?

jk, I love that pose. And I do prefer his left side, though the right is mighty fine, too.
  22.
You know it better than me: he's got a HUGE brain. Have to contain it.

Or maybe he had a headache?
