As I said before, when you talk about knives that are not sharp, the correct adjective in Spanish is "romo", but if you talk about pain... I'm not sure. I've been looking for "dolor superficial" (shallow/superficial pain) in Spanish, but it seems to refer to the pains located on the skin and similar.
Anyway, I believe that what you mean with "sharp" is "intense". If I'm right, then the word you're looking for is "weak", that in Spanish is "leve", "débil" or even "tenue".

    ...
Am I right? Has this been of any use of I did I completely forget what you were asking for?

Is this the Spanish Non Sequitur room? Si usted no sabe que quiere haser, commo puedo yo sabe lo?

The entire contents of my Spanish - not including agua, margurita and cervesa fria! I will never go thirsty!
  4.
No, that's perfect. Thanks for all your help!!

And Lyn, I like your Spanish vocabulary! All you really need to add is the word for bathroom - bano (the n is actually supposed to have a tilde over it but my keyboard is STUPID). You'll be set for life!

Nonononono, Pink, your keyboard isn't stupid, it's just ignorant, right as all the American ("Unitedstatian") keyboards.

Lyn, you'd have a really good time in Mallorca or Ibiza, I can tell you. You could drink until you're unconscious and sleep in the beach among drunk German tourists.
Sounds like a great plan to me! :D

No, my new Apple keyboard can do lots of fun stuff. I just don't usually use that computer, because it's Mr. Thing's special computer, and he gets kind of tense when I use it.

    Does it vibrate? The keyboard?

Interesting--John's chin looks more prominent in profile on his right than on his left. I noticed how different the sides of his face looked in "A Fish Called Wanda". And in "The Human Face" they morphed his face so that it was perfectly symmetrical. It looked so WRONG! Instant nausea. His face lost all its wonderful character.

That pic from the Hollywood Bowl--they were all within a couple of years of 40. But doesn't Graham look a lot older than the others? He must have done himself a lot of harm with all the booze and drugs. Poor man.

John was drop-dead gorgeous and sexy in his late 30s-early 40s!

If I could find that Annie Leibowitz photo somewhere, I'd post it. It's absolutely SPECTACULAR! He's dressed in a wetsuit and hanging by his knees from the branch of a dead tree, like a bat. There's another one of him standing on the branch (he's as tall as the rest of the tree, IIRC!). I saw those pics accompanying an article about him somewhere in the misty past, and the moment I laid eyes on it, I said, "I want to marry that man!" I don't know whose idea the wetsuit and dead tree were, but just the fact that he'd do it, even if he didn't think of it, was enough proof to me that he was intelligent, non-conformist, and creative--all things I find very sexy in a man.

    And those eyes! Sigh..............

Mrs T, I think I saw that Annie Leibowitz photo (the one where he's dressed in a wetsuit and hanging by his knees from the branch of a dead tree) but it was very small.
