It's father's day today which means a big happy day to all of you dads out there.
I don't really have a dad - he doesnt want to know me (yippeee) so yeah...i always used to give my granddad a granddads day card instead. But he died 2 months ago. I went to visit his grave just now and I am in floods of tears, I couldnt speak. I told John on twitter my granddad would have been pleased to have seen me meet him. I just get so upset because I can't share it with him. I can't see to type...tears :(
Lozzy, I think it's so great you get so emotional. Being a caring person is such an important quality nowadays. But it's also hard :) It's not Father's Day over here, but I will say to Cad (whom I think is a father?..) happy daddy day (Cad, if you aren't a daddy, you can be my sugerdaddy ), and of course to my virtual pop - happy Father's Day Doc - wherever you are!
I think Dad's Day tradition is sweet:) We don't have it here in Russia, we have Men's Day (which was former Red Army Day), but I think it's as stupid as Women's Day. Dad's Day - aww. As for Dads, well, I hate my father with all my heart (which is probably an awful thing to say) and he doesn't give a shit about me, but this is life. We can't expect everything to be perfect.
