We have this same, boring thread every year - but how else are you supposed to say it?

    Merry christmas everybody.

Hmm, Lozzy, you're right, we need to boost up the Xmas spirit a bit... So, let's say:

(It says "Merry Christmas from the Southern Hemisphere". I'm feeling very very very very VERY creative lately, for your disgrace...)

Yes, I'm afraid I did it.
I'm terribly sorry, I promise I will never do such a thing again. Please, forgive me.

Are we going to make another book? The "He's Not Dead Yet" forum book, I guess.
What's the book going to be built around?
Doesn't Ricky Gervais look like Winston Churchill?
    Why can't I sleep?
    Am I fat?
    Does everybody love chocolate?
Do you want to make me any artistic request? - I've gotta work on perspective (Santa's right leg begins in his scrotum, that's unacceptable), shading, coloring and holding the pencil.

    Yeah, good examples, CP.

It's going to be made to the general public rather than us, forum members. The main problem was with the 1st book that it made no sense for people outside the forum.
  1.
CP that is really awesome! Make something for me! Something shiny, I like shiny things. And it may involve a ferret.

Everybody - there's another Christmas thread somewhere around here, so if you want excitement, you should visit BOTH

Till February... do you mean, Valentine's Day?
  3.
Lucky! We never really go back to "normal" until around March- and then there's still always something going on...

After Christmas is Ol'Years (new year's eve... trini style ), then Carnival (ppl are already preparing, mind you- since October. The Grandstand's already up and all, and Carnival's in the 1st week of March!)

On the late side this year! Fat Tuesday is never later than March 5th or 6th here in the US. My birthday *always* falls during Lent, so I have cake and rum and Pepsi, then go about in sackcloth and ashes afterward.

We have a tree holiday. We go around singing songs and planting trees.

    Op--> That sounds AMAZING! =O
  6.
It actually is pretty nifty. It's also incredibly important this year, after the big fire. I hear they're making it a whole week this time.
  7.
*nods* At at least you're planting trees...not cutting them and putting the dying tree in the living room. Something kind of sick about *that*.

Like Arbor Day here in the US, except nobody celebrates that anymore.

The greenies are saying that live trees are "greener" than fake ones, because if the live trees are farmed, you're not disturbing the ennvironment much by cutting them down, they're being replaced, there are way fewer nasty chemicals involved in their manufacture and distribution, and they biodegrade nicely.
  8.
Ah, yes...but no amazing tree songs =\

My future-mother-in-law had a nice fake tree. I liked the idea of it not dying and it felt nice and lush...

Yup, yup! No ring, yet, as a "handed-down-through-generations" ring was given, but we're planning on getting the diamond mounted on a different setting.

He's even wearing his watch, which John never seemed to be without.

But he is wearing socks, which I've rarely seen John wear.

And that hand on his far side doesn't look like his own....creepy. Bunni, would you rather have this guy instead?
