I really cannot comment on Britain's portrayal of American men. We have a habit of portrayaing ourselves in less than desirable terms at times so we may have ourselves to blame. I think Clark Gable and Fred Astaire were two of best actors of yore. Love George Clooney and Bruce Willis.
